You need to clean your computer of all viruses/maleware/spyware/adware. Never 'RUN' or 'OPEN' ANYTHING until you first scan it for viruses. As soon as you click it, if it contains a virus, etc..., then you've just released it to do havoc on your system. So first learn how to scan what you download before you open it or play it and you'll never have problems like this. What's happening with your computer is whatever malicious code spread onto it has removed or damaged your Windows Installer. That's why you can't run anything or install anything. You need to download the latest version at microsoft. First, you've got to fix whatever caused the problem to begin with though. And that's your own training... Learn to Scan First and your computer will run like-new in 5 years from now. Ignore scanning and well, I guess you know what your computer will do. A lesson learned is a victory earned (hey I think I might've just made that up)...lol good luck to you :-)
