In the Control panel window click on %26quot;Regional and Language Options%26quot;

In the %26quot;Regional and Language Options%26quot; dialogue box go to the %26quot;Languages%26quot; tab.

In the %26quot;Text services and input languages%26quot; part, click on %26quot;Details...%26quot; button

This shows the %26quot;Text services and input languages%26quot; dialogue box. In the %26quot;Installed services%26quot; section, if you don%26#039;t see %26quot;English (United Kindom)%26quot; with %26quot;Keyboard%26quot; on the next line, click on Add..., select English (United Kingdom) as the Input language.

Once that%26#039;s been added, in the %26quot;Default input language%26quot; section at the top, select %26quot;English (United Kingdom)%26quot;.

Click Apply and Ok, and then you can exit out of the dialogue.

Your default keyboard should now be UK.|||Saw your posting, but what do you mean american to english? Are trying to say that you want to change it from American (U.S) to English (U.K) You could try looking under the regional settings in the control panel. That has alot to do with the regional languages and some settings that might affect your keyboard.
