Change settings on Mac?

My niece happened to play keyboard a little while ago and now there are a number of things wrong with my mac. My f10 key (which is supposed to mute) is working as my f3 key (showing all the windows open). There's also this weird %26quot;ding%26quot; sound whenever I click on anything. And there's a bold black box around any window that I click on. How do I change everything back to normal...or even %26quot;system restore%26quot; my Mac to get it back to factory conditions? (I'm ok if this erases everything on it)Change settings on Mac?No, these are easy fixes, no need to reinstall. All your problems are preference problems, not system os problems. If you did an system restore these problems will still exist because they are under your preferences.

To get rid of the annoying boxes go the apple on the top right hand corner of the screen, click %26quot;Preferences%26quot;. Click %26quot;Universal Access%26quot; and adjust your settings.

To get your keyboard back to normal under %26quot;Preferences%26quot; main window click %26quot;Keyboard%26quot; then click %26quot;Keyboard shortcuts%26quot; and adjust your settings.Change settings on Mac?Go to system preferences, then keyboard and mouse, then keyboard shortcuts, then hit restore defaultsChange settings on Mac?If its a laptop then you should call applesupport and get it repaired. Although if its a desktop then he probably got into settings and just messed things up a bit. Go to System Preferences then keyboard and you should be able to get things back to normal. as far as the black boxes i have no idea. In the future go to system preferences and lock your settings so that this wont happen agian. I hope this helps. %26lt;(^_^)%26gt;
