How to reset soft key on blackberry 8330?

how do i reset the key that puts the phone on standby on the blackberry 8330? i accidentally pressed that key and another key on the side of phone at the same time. now can not put phone on standby. the mute option does work. in the help section under %26quot;screen/ keyboard%26quot; i see the option to change the settings for the left soft key and the right soft key. But noting about the soft key on top of phone.
