Double click on %26#039;Keyboard%26#039; or %26#039;Language%26#039;.
Under the %26#039;General Tab%26#039;, select %26quot;English (United Kingdom) as your %26#039;input locale%26#039;.
Under the %26#039;Input Locales%26#039; tab, select add and then choose %26quot;English (United Kingdom) from the list. Now select %26quot;English (United States) and click on %26#039;Remove%26#039;.
Now reboot your system. It will remove the US version and keep the UK version.
On a US keyboard, the 拢(pound) symbol shows up as a #(hash) symbol and the %26quot;(quotes) symbol shows up as an @(at) symbol to name a few.|||You do this in the regional settings. set all the tabs to UK.|||press the start key, then go to the control panel then open up
regional and language options (xp)
then just select the language or layout from there|||go into control panel, then regional settings
